Calibrate & Fine-Tune the Leveler

Make it read true on your phone, and match your blocks.
Free — in the free app

Every phone's sensor is a little different. Calibrating once, and telling CampSavvy what blocks you use, makes the leveler read true.

Calibrate

  1. Find a surface you know is level — a counter or table checked with a carpenter's level.
  2. Lay the phone flat on it, top pointing the way you'll point it in the RV.
  3. On the Level tab, tap Calibrate, then Calibrate again to confirm.

To start over, go to Settings → Leveler → Clear calibration. Calibration belongs to this phone; it isn't copied to a new one.

Your block size

In Settings → Leveler, pick how thick your leveling blocks are: ž", 1", 1ÂŊ" or 2". The block counts use this.

Readings backwards?

If it says to raise the left side when the right is low, turn on Swap left and right in Settings → Leveler. If front and back are reversed, turn on Swap front and back. This can happen with some phone cases or if the phone faces the back of the RV.

Always put the phone in the same spot and the same direction. A favorite spot is the middle of the floor, top toward the front.
