Privacy policy

Effective October 25, 2026

The short version: CampSavvy stores your RV information so it's backed up and works on any phone. We don't sell or share it, there are no ads or tracking, and you can delete your account and everything in it from the app at any time. You can also use CampSavvy without an account — then everything stays on your phone.

This policy explains how the CampSavvy app and website ("CampSavvy," "we," "us") handle information. CampSavvy is made by Daily Defense Solutions LLC, a Florida company.

Using CampSavvy without an account

If you skip signing in, everything you enter is saved only on your phone. We don't receive it. Purchases still go through Apple or Google (see below).

What we store when you have an account

Your sign-in details — your email address, or the identifier Apple or Google gives us when you use Sign in with Apple or Google (with Apple you can choose to hide your real email). We use this only to sign you in and to send sign-in codes. No password is ever created.
What you enter in the app — your rig details, checklists, maintenance dates, service log (notes, costs, mileage), tank levels and reminder settings — so it's backed up and syncs between your phones.
Photos you add to the service log, stored privately so only you can see them.
Basic technical records needed to run the service securely, like when you last signed in and the network address a request came from, used for security and to prevent abuse.

Leveler calibration stays on each phone and isn't uploaded. CampSavvy does not use your location, microphone or contacts.

Connecting your repair shop

If your repair shop uses RVOps (software also made by Daily Defense Solutions LLC) and has turned on CampSavvy connections, you can connect it. You prove it's you with a code the shop's system emails to the address the shop has on file, or with an invite code the shop gives you.

What CampSavvy receives from the shop: your RVs (year, make, model, type), your finished visits (date, mileage, the work done and anything the shop recommended) and the shop's maintenance record for your RVs. Never prices, payments, invoices, internal notes or anyone else's information.
What the shop receives from CampSavvy: only that you're connected and when it was last used. The shop does not see your checklists, tank levels, service log or anything else you enter in the app.
You can disconnect at any time in the app, and the shop can turn connections off. Either one stops the sharing right away.

Phone permissions

Motion sensors — used only while the leveler is open, to measure tilt.
Camera and photos — used only when you choose to add a photo or receipt to your service log.
Notifications — used only for the reminders you turn on. They're scheduled on your phone.

Purchases

CampSavvy Pro is bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google handles your payment — we never see your card details. We use RevenueCat, a purchase-management service, to confirm whether you have Pro and to let Pro follow you to a new phone. RevenueCat receives your CampSavvy account ID (a random code, not your name or email), your purchase status and basic device information. It does not receive anything you enter in the app. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Who can see your information

Only you, and the small number of systems needed to run CampSavvy. We don't sell, rent or share your information with advertisers or data brokers, and CampSavvy has no ads or third-party analytics. We may disclose information if the law requires it. Data is stored on servers in the United States and sent over encrypted connections.

Deleting your information

In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account, your backed-up data and photos, and disconnects your repair shops, right away.
Without the app: email us from the address on your account and we'll delete it within 30 days.
No account: Settings → Erase all data, or delete the app.

Encrypted server backups are kept for up to 30 days and then removed. Purchase records are kept by Apple or Google under their own policies.

Children

CampSavvy is meant for RV owners and is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change how CampSavvy handles information, we'll update this page and the date above, and tell you in the app before a significant change takes effect.
